EGUSI (Ground Melon Seed) (200g jar) 

Prepared by Tribal Tastes, the African gourmet food deli featured on SBS TV's Food Safari 2009, with Kunle Adesua, originally from West Africa.

This lovely West African paste can be mixed in equal parts with water to prepare a base for a soup or stew. Fry a little onion in palm oil, add meat/fish, vegetables, stock, egusi, and a touch of red pepper and salt to taste.
